Exploring Charleston #2 - Ro Sham Beaux and O'Hara & Flynn

Happy Monday!

On Friday, I stopped in Ro Sham Beaux on Broad Street.  They have so many amazing things in there:

I then walked over to Waterfront Park.  It was a grey day out but the temps were fantastic and hardly anyone was around yet.  This is one of my favorite parts of the park, right near the Pineapple Fountain:
Friday night, my kids were at my Dad's so my husband and I tried out O'Hara & Flynn Wine Bar.

I should have taken more pics but the lights are dim and it's definitely more of a romantic mood so I didn't want to be taking pics with flash.  In the picture above is the Bruschetta with avocado.  It is SOOOO good.  We also tried the House-made Hummus (we liked it but not the roasted red peppers), the Apple Brie Plate (very good), the Coffee Ice Cream (delish).
I would definitely go back again.  It is small and intimate (about 5 tables and then some seats at the bar) - perfect for date night.

Saturday my son had his flag football game and the rest of the weekend we spent hanging out around the house.

Also, if you're interested in giveaways, here are two ending soon that have some fab prizes:

Today is the last day to enter simply x classic's huge giveaway.  5 winners!  Go enter here - you would win a $20 J.Crew gift card, Clarisonic Mia, Naked 3 Palette, Jouer Bare Beauty Kit or Deborah Lippmann Glitter Nail polish Set of 3.

My girl Rachael is also giving away a pair of Jack Rogers on her blog courtesy of Country Club Prep.  You can enter to win that here!
*I received extra entries for posting about this on my blog*

Hope you all had a safe and amazing weekend!

  1. I miss Charleston so much. I can't get over how many new places have popped up since we moved, only five months ago!

  4. I have searched all over your blog and Twitter channel to see if you're from this area. I live in between Columbia and Charleston, SC. This sounds like a really fun night out for sure. Charleston has so much to offer too.
